The usually weekly jobless claims numbers came in this morning.
It showed an unexpected fall to 198,000 – versus the expected 215,000 – likely due to seasonal adjustments.
On top of that we also got the results from a couple manufacturing surveys…
Both of which showed a significant surge that resulted in them coming in way ahead of expectations.
