We got the previously delayed CPI data this morning, alongside the usual weekly jobless claims.
CPI came in at 2.7% annually – below the 3.1% expected, which is good news for future rate cuts.
The weekly jobless claims came in just a hair under expectations, but because of all the seasonal fluctuations, investors are putting a bit less stock in the current numbers.
