Even if you primarily target individual stocks, opportunities can still be macro or micro.
For instance, when the entire market is on the verge of a breakout – a macro opportunity – you want to target stocks with the juiciest breakout patterns.
But when the entire market is choppy – like it is now as it digests the Fed’s messaging – you want to drill down to the micro.
